SIM São Paulo announces schedule for the Daytime Showcases 2016

Between December 8th-10th, the São Paulo Music Week will welcome delegates from the Brazilian and the international music market to the Centro Cultural São Paulo. The large venue will accommodate the daytime attractions of Music Convention, such as debates, workshops and business rounds. In addition to the program targeted at industry professionals, the Sala Adoniran Barbosa – a space located next to the PRO-AREA – will host a marathon of showcases between 3:00 and 9:00 p.m. (each one lasting 20 minutes). Free and open to all

For free days, 27 artists will take center stage. All of them were subject to a strict selection process conducted by the consulting council at SIM São Paulo, comprised by 10 professionals from several areas of the music industry. SIM received 1,023 submissions for our 2016 edition, from various artists and bands wanting to take part. This includes 976 Brazilian artists and 47 from another 15 countries.

The selected artists were announced on August 24th. Four of them had to be replaced due to conflicting agendas, and the final line-up including date and time was finally revealed.
