Daytime showcases announced

In 2017, SIM SÃO PAULO is on its 5th edition and it reveals today what’s coming up. The Music Convention will take place once again at the Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP) plus various music venues across the city, between December 6th and 10th. There will be talks, debates, workshops and other networking activities, in addition to the eagerly awaited daytime showcases.

The demand for a slot in the daytime showcases grows every year. SIM São Paulo received 1,215 applications for various artists and bands in 2017. A total of 1,150 were Brazilian acts, from literally every corner Brazil, plus a further 65 from 17 countries. The performances have a duration of 20 minutes each from December 7th to 9th between 3:00 and 8:00 p.m at the Adoniran Barbosa Theatre (within the CCSP).

These 27 names were carefully selected by the advisory board of the music event. For the second consecutive year, SIM São Paulo established a minimum quota of 50% for female artists. Check out the selected ones below:
