Universal Music has been going through big changes in the last few years: from a conventional record label to a content, media and entertainment company. Traditional areas inside the company (like artistic, marketing and comercial) have been affected by different initiatives related to digital technology, data science, live/concerts, artistic management, B2C, merchandising, brands and entrepreneurship. To tell a little bit about this story, Universal Music Brasil will have the presence of two of its executives: Miguel Cariello (GTS Director and Artistic) and Claudio Vargas (Comercial Director), besides the artist Jão. With a four-year career and two released albums (Lobos and Anti-Herói), Jão is already one of the big names in the brazilian contemporary pop music. Recognized by awards like MTV and Multishow, he's a player among brazilian artists with the best digital and concert results. In an open and casual way, the idea is to have a debate that approaches themes realted to trends and innovation on the dynamics of the music industry.
